Emily Cohen is in her final year of study at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in Philadelphia. Emily calls the San Francisco Bay Area home but has a complicated geographic history that includes, by last count, 14 cities in 3 countries. She's a proud alumna of Macalester College in St. Paul.
While in school, Emily has served as student rabbi at Woodstock Jewish Congregation, Jewish Student Advisor at Bryn Mawr College, a senior wilderness trek leader for Jewish teens, rabbinic intern with HIAS Pennsylvania, and a teacher of many people of many ages for a variety of synagogues.
In her far-from-copious and yet somehow-still-grasped free time, Emily loves to sing, write, bake, complete the NYT crossword (until Thursday when it gets too hard), and play with her darling cat, Pico. Oh, and she also found energy to co-create The Hamilton Haggadah.
